Directors Update from Richard Gyles
dhc continues to develop ahead of the market with another record breaking half year across all aspects of the business. To service this growth we have put further focus into the key areas of Implementation, Development, Customer Service and Support to ensure we continue to improve our service levels in the future. This has been based on feedback from many of our customers resulting in:
< > Our Implementation team adopting the ACAP scheme to ensure all projects are managed and documented in the same way.
< > The Development team introducing stricter new QA procedures that look at the software we are developing at each stage from specification, design, right through to delivery.
< > Development of a fully integrated Front Line Support Team managed by Marina Edwards with tighter controls to monitor performance.
< > Mike Jackson joining our Customer Services team after several years working as a Finance Director in the Charity sector.
I would like to thank you for your support and we look forward to working with you in the years to come.

Important News - Support Update
It has been brought to our attention that the installation of patch 2 for Dimensions 2.44b changes a setting in SQL Server called Recovery Model back to its factory default of "Simple". For most users, who do not tweak or change SQL settings or use MSDE this would not have any impact however, if you have configured this Recovery Model to be set to Full or Bulk-Logged, then if you suffer a system issue or need to recover using a transaction log, then the changing of this setting may adversely affect you.
If you have installed this patch, please can you check these settings - if you require assistance, please contact our support department. For those of you who have not installed patch 2 yet, Access have released an updated version to stop the Recovery Mode being changed which can be downloaded from our FTP site. For more information contact our Support department on support@dhcltd.com or by calling 01483 413 382.
